W8 needed by Supersprint in Italy for exhaust development

Here's a letter I received from Supersprint. Looks like we need a European W8 owner to help out the masses!

Thank you very much for your appreciation of our exhausts.

Unfortunately, we have not yet planned making a system for the Passat W8, mainly due to the lack of availability of this car model over here in Italy. Very few of the W8 Passats have been imported into our country, and it proved impossible to us so far, finding a car to work on for exhaust development. We at Supersprint would be more than glad with making a stainless cat-back exhaust system for the W8, however this is just not possible at the present time.

The only realistic chance we have, is the following:

Should a forum member from Europe bring his W8 car to Supersprint Italy, and leave it here a few days for the development work, we'll give him our first exhaust system, free of charge. Looking forward to hear from you soon.

development. Incoming goods RK superprint would more than glad
with making A stainless cat beacon exhaust system for the W8, more
more however this is just emergency possible RK the present time.

I had contact with Alessandro, he is a very honor man and made a special downpipe for my V6 caused by the TT5.

Verdammt! Wenn ich in Bayern oder so leben würde, würd ich das glatt machen! Aber von Essen nach Italien ist mir doch ein bissel weit!

Außer es springt noch ein kleiner Urlaub für mich raus...

Ja bin ich ein Mitglied von CB5 oder jetzt PassatWorld. Leider sind W8s in den US sehr selten. Ich wurde sehr gereizt, um eine verwendete (manuelle Variante 2004) 6-speed zu kaufen, aber sie war 3.000 Meilen entfernt. Ich dachte, daß möglicherweise ca. in Europa an diesem Supersprint Angebot interessiert sein kann. Ich habe z.Z. ein Handbuch 1999 1.8T, mit GIAC Span, Techtonics 2.5"Absaugventilator mit downpipe und einem Borla Absaugventilator. Aller rostfreie Stahl.

Yes I am a member of CB5 or now PassatWorld. Unfortunately, W8s are very rare in the US. I was very tempted to purchase a used (2004) 6-speed manual variant but it was 3,000 miles away. I thought maybe some one in Europe may be interested in this Supersprint offer.

I currently have a 1999 1.8T manual, with GIAC chip, Techtonics 2.5" exhaust with downpipe, and a Borla exhaust. All stainless steel.
