Small world. I live near Syracuse in dairy country. I'm looking to buy a 2004.5 W8 variant 6 speed with ~10,000 km. I heard that in the US only 42 were sold in 2004 but I was interested in worlwide numbers.

Is your question still a point of interest? I have pretty good contacts into the German Volkswagen and Audi Dealer organization and in directíon Wolfsburg.

So maybe I can get this information, but I cannot promise it. Gimme an answer, please.

P.S. I'm not yet a W8 owner, but I'm seriously thinking about it. The prices for preowned W8 are currently very low in Germany (extremely fallen residual values). So it could be really a good deal.
