passt Tacho aus W8 auch im 3b v6 4motion

hallo ich habe folgende frage passt der tacho aus dem passat 3bg w8 auch in einen passat 3b v6 4motion ?
oder was muss man alles ändern ?

Dann Klartext - 2 Probleme:

1. Die Wegfahrsperre läßt sich nicht anpassen - W8 Tachos gehen nur im W8 oder sonstwo ohne Wegfahrsperre (kann deaktiviert werden)

2. Der W8 hat 3 Tankgeber, das Signal ist anders. Da gibt es angeblich eine Lösung, die mir bisher aber vorenthalten blieb.

Und 3.: Skala bis 300 im 100PS Benziner sieht uncool aus :rofl:

naja die anzeige wäre es nicht hab an v6 4 motion aber die wegfahrsperre wäre das größte problem

Hi,

dann kannst das sowieso vergessen mit dem KI!!!

Da deiner keinen CAN-Bus hat,und der vom W8 ja!!!

Ich habe bei meinem einem vom BG-Benziner verbaut,weil meiner von 11.99 ist hat alles geklappt bis auf den Lichtgong!!!

der can ist kein problem da gibt es bereits eine elektronik schaltung von can auf ohne can bus

Hmm,

dann könnte es vielleicht klappen mit der WFS.Das andere Prob. wird sein das sich der Tacho nicht mit der Geschwindigkeit anpassen läßt!!!

Weiß ich aber nicht,fahr einfach zum und laß deine Schlüssel anlernen und probier dein Glück

Nein, das Problem mit der WFS hat aber auch gar nix mit Can zu tun. Und dieser angesprochene CAN-Adapter dient lediglich dazu, das Tachosignal von CAN umzuwandeln, da neue Fahrzeuge kein eigenes Tachosignal mehr bekommen und die Geschwindigkeit aus dem Datensatz umrechnen.

Wird wohl eher nix werden - aber einer hat nen W8-Tacho drin, glaub ich - oder irre ich?

Hello everybody


Let me say first, that I have 2001 3BG V6, 4-Motion, TipTronic.
Before today, I had a usual tacho with just a little TripComputer.
From today, I've install a second hand (got from ebay.de) W8 Tacho.
With a Full - Big Screen MFA.
So my question is the following:
At the dealer station they told me, that after installing this W8 they have found only 1 problem !
And this problem with ABS-ESP (I have a EPS Bosch version 5.2 (or 5.3) can't remember exactly.
W8 - have a 5.7 as they told me.
So VAG have indicated only one problem, something like 133 or 163 error code ! (Something about minute timer after I'll turn my engine off).
They have looked at the scheme from ELSA and find out that on my ESP+Usual mine tacho there is a cable from ESP to my tacho, but in W8 scheme there is no such a cable.
So what I have is cable goes from EPS-ABS system to nothing in W8 tacho.

So I'm wonder is it ok or should I do install my old tacho back ?

I'm just wonder about this:

1) What is it: The going away barrier cannot be adapted ? From post above ? Like: Die Wegfahrsperre läßt sich nicht anpassen ?

Is it the same as they told me ? or nop ?


2) And what about my FUEL Tank ?
Again, as they told me, I have a 3 tank giver and W8 have somehting like 4 givers ? Is it right ?
And will I have a correct measurements of Tank Fuel or nop ?

when I install it I have something like 10 liters left from 60 ! W8 tacho show me that I'm near a red zone.

After full refuel I have a full tank showing on tacho. But after I drove for about 55 KM same situation. I have a full tank by looking at W8 tacho.

Is it ok or nop ?


3) And about speed, it should be right to 120 km/h and not right after 140 ? Is it right or not ?

You have to deactivate the away barrier, because the barrier from W8 is not the same like in V6 and can't be combinated.
The W8 has got 3 fuel filling indicators your V6 not, so the indication after refuel is correct, afterwards incorrect.
The same problems are with the speedometer, from the W8 ist is not the same like this from V6, so it works incorrect in your V6

Wenn Du eine günstigere Alternative finden kannst, wäre es schön, wenn Du es mich wissen lässt. Habe nämlich auch noch keinen CAN und wäre aber auf einen 3bg Tacho scharf oder zumindest auf einen 3b Tacho mit großer MFA. Wobei es ja mit dem 3bg Tacho eh nicht funktionieren wird wegen den unterschiedlichen Wegfahrsperrentypen von 3b und 3bg
Natürlich weiß ich auch nicht ob der CAN Adapter in unserem Falle funktionieren würde... :gruebel: :nixweiss:

Can I ask please,

1) What is it "AWAY BARIER" And why should I deactivate it and how?
Now I'm driving with a W8 tacho, but I did not deactivate it, and I think everything is ok (I hope so), shoud I deactivate it or not ?
I have no idia what is it, AWAY BARIER. Please explain in to me Please

2) About FUEL sensor ! As VW Dealer told me, V6 - have 3, and W8 have 4 ! Now about correct indication: at FUEL TANK = EVERYTHINK OK, and empty tank , its on RED ZONE TOO Left about 10 Liters, but I have no idia if the LAMP (MFD) will lite up, cause I still did not test it, at the middle you are right ! Its not working correctly But its ok !

3) About Speedometr, I've check it with ClimatControl Test mode, so far, from speed 10 to 140 - its indication is 95% correct according to a Clima test mode. the difference is -5KM on clima from Spedomoter. So I think its working fine. but after 140 - still have no idia ! Roads in Moscow VERY VERY snow, so I can't test it right now.


By the way, is there any testmode for MFD ? or nop ? Any tricks ?

Maybe he means the "wegfahrsperre", I think so. The barrier.

So you`re right:
