Additional intercooler 3BG

Hi there,

Does an additional intercooler exist for an 3BG 1.9TDi-130 PS 2wd passat, such there is for a 1.8T engine? If yes, who is the supplier.

This is not so effecient. Why?

For example: Standard Turbo (charger?) makes about 1,5bar (my 74KW with chip). That means if i would install a additional cooler the pressure would less than 1.5 bar. The turbo has to compress much more amount of air. This is not possible (with the standard turbo). So you lose again the Power. Or you change also the turbo, motormanagment,.. maybe then ....?

Maybe its easier and more effective to cool your intercooler with water or NOS ??

C´mon guys,
don´t think about cooling your intercooler by NOS, this is like building brakepads from pure gold.

Get to the next compressed air dealer and buy some C02-bottles (10lbs), install them under rearseats and connect via valve to front end of intercooler, drill some holes in mudskirt and feel the power of MINUS 20 degrees COLD air!
C02 is impossible to get flamed so theres no reasons for not havin it under the hood.

BUT,
be aware of the C02 getting IN ya engine, this will dramatically SLOW you down, so drill those holes!!!!
