Sorry I'm writing this in English, I write better English than German, you can reply in German.

In about a year I want to buy me a Passat Variant W8 with a manual six-speed transmission. The 275ps are great but I want something different. Looking for an answer to gain me more power I found two options:

1. An Audi S4 2.7 biturbo with an AWE Tuning RSK04 turbo upgrade kit conversion.
2. Built a supercharger too and get it up to 400ps.

I already had contact with a shop here in the Netherlands. They told me it would take them about 2 months to built a supercharger kit for the W8 (costs about 4000-8000 euro, depending on the amount of horsepower gained). Searching the internet I could not find any specifications on the manual six-speed transmission that sits in the W8.

Could you guys help me with the model number/type number of this transmission and if it will put up to a power increase of 125ps??

The 2.7T Audi S4 is the better choice I think. A car which already have a turbo is easier to tune and in the W8 engine compartment is not much space for a supercharger.

You're right about that. The car is of a friend of mine, pretty stock. He takes good care of his car, that's why I want it. Chiptuning would bring it up to 300ps, I want more. I will be using the car of everyday driving. Talking to the company that installs the supercharger, they told me a couple of German friends that have a Golf VR6 (bi)turbo made a conversion to a supercharged VR6, because it handels a lot better for everyday driving. Handling a 2.7 Biturbo is my biggest concern, I don't know how a 400ps biturbo handels.

The sprinting will be very good, but what about the cornering?

I'm even concidering a W12 conversion, adding an extra 50 kilograms to the front axel. The W12 is about 10centimeters longer than the W8 but pulls out 420-450ps (depending on the year of build). As far as I know it hasn't been done yet. don't even know if it will fit the engine bay of the Passat. Still looking for some good pictures of the engine mounts of the W8 and a W12.
